| Agenda and Minutes of January meeting approved. |
| The Chair welcomed back our Principal, Niamh O’Toole. Thanks were recorded to Mary Therese Fields and Siobhan Dunphy for the part they played since September. The Board also welcomed the news of our newly announced permanent premises. The Chair will follow up with the Minister to get further information on the new accommodation. |
| It was agreed that all necessary school policies will be published on school website. |
| The Treasurer’s Report and details of the recently submitted school accounts were presented to the Board. |
| Principal’s Report included updates on enrolment, staffing and staff updates. An Introduction to Wellbeing with Fiona Forman will hopefully continue throughout the remainder of the school year. |
| Building updates: The Board will continue to inform the school community on any further information with regard to our permanent premises in Killester. |
| A copy of “What is an Educate Together National School” booklet was made available to all parents and guardians in January. The Board suggest that this document should be read carefully as it answers many questions that may arise on ethos and Educate Together principles. Niamh and Carmel will recommence work on the identification of the KRC Mission, Vision and Values. This will be done in consultation with the entire school community. A further meeting is scheduled to take place with the Chair and Secretary of the Board and their corresponding officers on the SCA. |
